Native to the Bay Area in California, Vincent was born into a family of musicians and played various instruments growing up, such as piano, saxophone, bassoon, and the flute. However, Vincent was steered to focus on other areas in his younger years. It wasn’t until after his studies at New York University and working for a few years when the unparalleled fulfillment of music made itself clear to Vincent, inclining him to pursue it. To date, Vincent has released his 25-piece Jazz big band with strings and harp album entitled Incredible Views From Above. Working together with producer Sirintip Phasuk, the album features renowned Jazz artists including Steve Kortyka, Danny Jonokuchi, Brandee Younger, Alex Hahn, Bijon Watson, amongst others. The album has also been mixed by Grammy award-winning producer/mixer/engineer Nic Hard. Vincent has toured nationwide and internationally at notable establishments including at Dizzy’s Club / Jazz at Lincoln Center and various venues in Taiwan.
Along with the album, Vincent has also released his songs with 2 music videos as a gateway to bring an easier understanding to Jazz music. Having grown up in an Asian American community where pursuing a STEM related career path was advised against others, Vincent has his rooted effort to encourage young people to pursue their dreams and motivate older folks to pick up the passions they had left behind.
Vincent is currently pursuing his Master in Business Administration at University of California, Berkeley. He is finalizing his second album, which is anticipated to release in mid-2025. The record will feature a legendary Grammy award-winning band as well as a full size orchestra from Budapest.
